Math: ratios, integers, equations and pre-Algebra, plus Algebra I for accelerated students
Science: Earth science, life science and physical science
ELA: reading comprehension and essays
Social studies: reading, notes and DBQ-style writing
Organization, note-taking and test prep
How a session works
Every session is 60 minutes, in person, with at most 4 students and one real classroom teacher. Students bring what they're working on that week (homework, notes, a test coming up) and the session is built around it.
$40 per student, per session. No packages or contracts.
Groups of up to 4, so every question gets answered.
Book seats for your child, siblings or friends in one go.
Text and email confirmations and reminders.

Founder & math teacher
A classroom math teacher who knows exactly where students tend to get stuck, and how to help them get unstuck.
My 8th grader is taking Algebra I or Earth Science. Can you help?
Yes. Many 8th graders take high school courses with a Regents exam at the end. We cover both the class and the exam.
Why groups of exactly four?
Four is small enough that every student gets real attention and every question gets answered, and big enough that students learn from each other's questions too. It also keeps the price at $40 per student.
Can I book for more than one student?
Yes. Book seats for your own kids, a friend, or a full group of 4. Anyone can also grab a single seat and the rest of the group fills in with other students.
What if the group doesn't fill up?
The session still happens at the same price, $40 per student, with however many students signed up.
