From counting and times tables to Algebra II, math builds on itself. One shaky step makes everything after it harder. In a group of 4, a teacher can spot exactly where each student is stuck and fix it, for $40 a session.
Sessions follow what your child is learning in class right now, at every level:
Elementary: number sense, addition and subtraction, times tables, fractions and word problems
Middle school: ratios, percentages, integers, expressions and equations, intro to Algebra
High school: Algebra I, Geometry and proofs, Algebra II and Trigonometry
Test prep: unit tests, finals and the NYS Regents exams in Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II
How a session works
Every session is 60 minutes, in person, with at most 4 students and one real classroom teacher. Students bring what they're working on that week (homework, notes, a test coming up) and the session is built around it.
$40 per student, per session. No packages or contracts.
Groups of up to 4, so every question gets answered.
Book seats for your child, siblings or friends in one go.
Text and email confirmations and reminders.
Why a small group works for math
Students hear other students' questions, often the exact one they were too unsure to ask. They explain steps to each other, which is one of the best ways to really learn them. And it costs a fraction of private one-on-one tutoring.

Lindsay Voegler
Founder & math teacher
A classroom math teacher who knows exactly where students tend to get stuck, and how to help them get unstuck.
Yes. High school sessions regularly focus on the Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II Regents: the topics that show up most, worked problems and how to show work for full credit.
My child is behind. Will a group slow them down?
Groups are capped at 4 so the teacher can work with each student on their own gaps. Bring the homework or test they're struggling with and the session starts there.
Why groups of exactly four?
Four is small enough that every student gets real attention and every question gets answered, and big enough that students learn from each other's questions too. It also keeps the price at $40 per student.
Can I book for more than one student?
Yes. Book seats for your own kids, a friend, or a full group of 4. Anyone can also grab a single seat and the rest of the group fills in with other students.
What if the group doesn't fill up?
The session still happens at the same price, $40 per student, with however many students signed up.
