1. What we offer
Groupaced provides in-person, small-group tutoring for students from Pre-K through 12th grade. Each session is 60 minutes long, with up to 4 students and one tutor.
Tutors are independent teachers who work with us. Sessions take place at the locations listed on each tutor's profile.
2. Booking and groups
Each student needs their own seat. A group has up to 4 seats, and open seats may be filled by other students.
A session runs as scheduled even if not every seat is filled. The price stays $40 per student.
When you book for a friend, you confirm that you have their parent or guardian's permission to share their details with us.
3. Payment
The price is $40 per student, per session, paid in full when you book. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
If a time fills up while you are paying, any seat we can't book is refunded automatically.
4. Cancellations, refunds and no-shows
Cancel at least 24 hours before the session starts for a full refund. Use the link in your confirmation email, or contact us.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session, and missed sessions (no-shows), are not refunded.
If a tutor has to cancel, you can choose a full refund or a new time at no extra cost.
5. Safety and conduct
Parents and guardians are responsible for getting students to and from each session, and for being reachable during it.
We expect students to be respectful of the tutor and the group. We may remove a student whose behavior disrupts the group, without a refund for that session.
Please tell us about any allergies, medical needs or accommodations before the session.
6. Emails and text messages
By booking, you agree that we may email and text you about your bookings (confirmations, reminders, changes, and a request to review a session). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time.
7. Your account and reviews
Your account lets you see your bookings and save your students' details. Keep access to your email secure, because we sign you in with a link sent there.
Reviews come only from real bookings. By leaving a review, you allow us to show it on our website with the name you choose. We may remove reviews that are abusive, off-topic or share private information.
8. Privacy
We collect only what we need to run sessions: your name and contact details, and each student's name and grade. We share it with the student's tutor and with the services that run our booking (Cal.com), payments (Stripe) and messages. We never sell personal information.

9. Limits of our responsibility
Tutoring supports learning, but we can't guarantee specific grades or test scores.
To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim related to a session is limited to the amount you paid for that session.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. Bookings use the version you agreed to when you booked, and each booking records which version that was.
